ECUADOR AND NIGERIA TO SIGN VISA FREE AGREEMENT

According to most Nigeria newspapers online, the ambassador of Ecuador to Nigeria Mr. Deopoldo Rovayo stated in Abuja when he was on courtesy visit to the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Olukunle Bamgbose that his country and Nigeria has agreed to sign a visa free agreement to strengthen bilateral relations.

He was quoted saying ” The purpose of my visit was to further cement the bilateral relations between Ecuador and Nigeria. The two countries have agreed to sign an agreement to enable our citizens to visit each other without a visa. There are approximately about one thousand Nigerians living in Ecuador and the number would continue to rise.”

If you intend travelling to Ecuador on short-term purpose please bear in mind you have to fulfill the basic principles of travelling:
1. Your International passport with reasonable validity.
2. Basic travelling allowance sufficient to cover your entire stay in Ecuador.
3. Your flight ticket to and from Ecuador.
4. Your accommodation arrangement.
5. Your International health certificate popularly called “the yellow card”
6. Finally,  endeavour to take along the police clearance certificate.
