Because getting a work visa is a prerequisite for getting Employment Permit, it’s a must to process a work visa before departing your country of residence.

1. Get a job offer from a company or organisation in Romania

2. Obtain an online work visa application form or approach the Romanian Embassy in your country of residence for an updated directive.

Carefully read and complete the online visa application form

Attach the following documents:

1.  The original job offer.

2. Your International passport with at least 12 months validity and unused visa pages.

3. Photocopy of the data page of your passport.

4. Two recently acquired passport-sized photographs with white background.

5. Evidence of accommodation arranged by you or your employer.

6. Evidence of flight booking and return ticket.

7. Evidence of Basic travelling allowance.

8. Proof of travel health insurance cover from a reputable insurance company.

9. All the documents used in processing the job applied for.

SUBMISSION AT THE EMBASSY

After the compilation of the above-mentioned documents, you should submit them personally at the Irish Embassy in your country of residence.

Any prospective student applying for a Romania student visa should be glad that they don’t need a qualifying examination to apply for any of the recognized universities’ offers of admission. REQUIREMENTS FOR ROMANIA STUDENT VISA

1. Obtain the student visa application form which shall be in two copies for the issuance of a Letter of Acceptance for admission.
2. Submission of all your academic certificates that will qualify you for admission into the Romania University.
3. If you’re applying for a master’s degree the certificate you’re submitting should be a first degree or equivalent.
4. Submission of your academic transcript in copy with a notarized translation.
5. Birth certificate with a notarized translation.
6. The data page of your international passport with at least 12 months validity, must be submitted in a notarized format.
7. Various health certificates that are required for international travel prove that the applicant is in sound health to undertake a course of study in Romania.
Please note that all documents you’re submitting shall come with a notarized translation and shall be endorsed by the Romanian Embassy in your country of residence or a notary public.
All the documents shall be mailed to the university you selected.
Furthermore, when the university of your choice accepted and issues its acceptance of enrolment, the Romanian Ministry of Education, Research, Youth and Sports will issue a letter of Acceptance of studies.
Please ensure you provide an active Email because the Ministry will mail the acceptance of admission to the mail address you submitted in the enrolment form.

APPLYING FOR A STUDENT VISA.
Please note that you will apply for a student visa at the Romanian Embassy in your country of residence by submitting the following and other relevant documents:
1. The original copy of the letter of acceptance of studies as received from the Romanian Ministry of Education.
2. Your international passport with 12 months validity
3. All the documents used in processing the admission.
4. Evidence of payment of school fees for the first 9 months.
5. Your bank account statement.
6. Copy of your passport’s data page.
7. Your health certificate
8. Evidence of the payment of the visa fees.
9. Other documents as requested by the embassy.
Please note that it is imperative to appear and submit all the required documents personally because the applicants shall undergo biometric data capturing.
